1965 Attended the School of Applied Arts and trained as a decorator in Berne 1968 Work in Geneva as a decorator 1969 Practical training in a printing works (photolithography) 1970 Further training as a draughtswoman in an architects' office 1972 Design of 3 walls in the entrance halls of the "Les Ailes" housing co-operative in Geneva 1973 Language school in England 1973 First contact with the traditional painting of Eastern Switzerland, looking over the shoulder of a Toggenburg painter 1974 Interior designer in shop construction 1975 Exhibition judged by a jury in Galerie 58 in Berne: won 3rd prize 1975 Invitation by the Swiss Trade Promotion Office to the International Exhibition of Gent, Belgium. Exhibition and painting on-site in Switzerland's official pavilion. 1976 Painting became my principal occupation. Publication of first calendar in 1976 1978 Discovery of Switzerland’s farmhouse culture. Many of Switzerland's farmhouses have now been recorded in detail. Unfortunately, some of them have also already been demolished. |
